GOOGLE 355 MAIN STREET - CAMBRIDGE

Since 2007, ABC Moving Services, Inc. has been providing office relocation services for Google in both Cambridge and Boston.  Most recently, ABC was tasked with restacking approximately (300) employees at 355 Main Street in Cambridge.  This restack was completed over a Friday and a Saturday and consisted of moving office contents and technology along with seating and various furniture.
ABC and Google worked together to develop a move plan that allowed the move to flow in the most efficient manner.  We established staging areas for selected items which allowed product to be delivered directly to its final destination, avoiding the need to double and triple handle items.
We are very pleased to announce that this relocation was completed ahead of schedule, under budget, and incident free.  We’d like to thank Google for their continued support.

GOULSTON & STORRS 30/50 ROWES WHARF - BOSTON

ABC Moving Services, Inc. has been proudly providing moving and storage services for Goulston & Storrs since 2014.  In addition to performing their routine moves, we were hired to handle their complete office renovation at 400 Atlantic Avenue and most recently assisted in their office renovation at 30/50 Rowes Wharf.
The Rowes Wharf renovation was a (12) week project.  ABC attended weekly project meetings to establish move plans that would ensure accuracy and efficiency.  Each Friday night, ABC would arrive on site to disconnect computers, stage office furniture and crates, and then move these items to a “swing space” so that the renovations could be completed.  We would return on Sunday morning to put all of the items back and to reconnect the computers.  ABC provided all of the packing materials, crates, building protection, etc.
The project was completed on time, under budget, and incident free!  We wish to thank Goulston & Storrs for their continued support.

The relocation was completed on time, within budget, and incident free.  We wish to thank Takeda for the opportunity to move them into their new space.

YAHOO! 31 ST. JAMES AVE - BOSTON

Last year ABC Moving Services, Inc. relocated Yahoo’s Boston office from 55 Summer Street to 31 St. James Avenue. The move consisted of office contents and technology for approximately (80) employees along with selected conference room furniture, common area furniture and kitchen appliances. ABC Moving provided packing and unpacking support for Yahoo’s copy rooms and storage rooms and also provided all of the packing materials required to successfully complete the relocation. The move had to be completed during one evening shift, so that Yahoo did not lose any productivity. We worked closely with Yahoo to develop a move schedule to ensure that all work was being completed in the most efficient manner.
After the relocation, we liquidated all of Yahoo’s remaining furniture from 55 Summer Street. We partnered with an electrical and installation company to remove data lines and base feeds from the workstations and to disassemble the workstations and general office furniture so they could be loaded out of the building. We worked closely with a furniture liquidator to develop a removal schedule which allowed us to plan the appropriate moving resources and equipment. We staged and organized the furniture during the day and removed it each night. We had (1) week to remove two floors of furniture and to leave the space in “broom clean condition”. We finished one day ahead of schedule!
We are very pleased to announce that each scope of work was completed on time, within budget and incident free. We wish to thank Yahoo for the opportunity.

ABRY PARTNERS 888 BOYLSTON STREET - BOSTON

ABC Moving Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have recently completed the office relocation and furniture liquidation for ABRY Partners. ABRY Partners moved from 111 Huntington Ave (24,000 square feet) into the top two floors of 888 Boylston Street (36,000 square feet) and was the first tenant to move into the brand new Boston Properties building.
The move consisted of (19) total truckloads of office contents, technology, seating, private office artwork, and furniture.  In addition to the relocation, ABC assisted with pre-move planning and post-move support.  ABC also provided packing instructions for all employees, packed and unpacked common areas, supplied packing materials and Boston Crates, wrapped office artwork, and installed proper building protection at both locations.
The furniture liquidation consisted of bringing approximately (12) truckloads of furniture to the loading dock for the furniture liquidator.  All staging and prep work was completed during the day, with removals occurring during the evening.
Each scope of work was completed on time, under budget, and incident free!
