Following a year-long renovation that included the addition of the new Robert M. Beren Hall, the expansion of various common areas, and the remodeling of every dorm room, Harvard University’s Winthrop House Renewal project has come to an end.  ABC Moving Services, Inc. was there to make sure every piece of furniture was in place before the doors opened to more than (400) students for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Between July 21st and August 22nd, over the course of (27) move events, ABC received, unpackaged, and delivered (115) truckloads of brand new dormitory, dining room, library, and common room furniture.  We coordinated with New England Woodcraft, Moduform, Damark, MH Parks, Therapedic of New England, and Baynes Electric Supply to stay within a tight delivery schedule.  

This project also included the relocation of approximately (30) truckloads belonging to Resident Tutors, the unpacking of Standish Hall Library books, and delivery of approximately (10) truckloads of selected items that had been placed in storage while the renovation occurred.  In total, ABC delivered (4,606) pieces to the newly renovated spaces.

This project was completed two full days ahead of schedule, under budget, and incident free!
